Flexographic Technical Association (FTA), producer of Forum 2018, has announced “Bringing It All Together: Synchronizing Processes, People and Potential” as the official theme of the 2018 event. More than 2,000 professionals from every segment of the supply chain will attend the May 6-9 event, held at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown in Indianapolis, IN, USA.

The Forum 2018 agenda tackles synchronization of the many moving parts of the industry, including processes, people and potential. Culminated into one event through nine informative sessions, topics include student research about the future of flexo, how company cultures impact all strategic planning for success, and new capabilities and technologies of today’s flexo presses. Attendees will walk away with a clear understanding of the customer’s point of view of package printing and the brand management process, how to effectively communicate the proof approval process between brand owner and printer, and so much more.

Program development is being led by Forum chair Bob Coomes, Plastic Packaging Technologies, LLC and co-chair Ann Michaud, 3M. As abstracts are reviewed, speakers are selected and session formats are determined, the tuning in and integration of all topics will ultimately deliver a big-picture message for a complete May 2018 experience.

Co-located with Forum 2018 is INFOFLEX, which takes place May 7-8 across the Skywalk at the Indiana Convention Center. Occupied by hundreds of the industry’s top suppliers, this is a two-day, intensive networking opportunity, allowing for the successful intertwining of the various worlds of package printing and converting technologies.
